I met this guy named Russell a couple of weeks ago when I ate at mcdonalds amazing guy. He mopped up the floor and cleaned our tables but took his time to chat with me and some of the other customers. Amazing guy, the rest of the restaurant isn't that good but Russell makes up for it best employee ever.
Micky D's in Garrison MN, they completely took the fast out of fast food. Noon lunch rush and they have one person taking orders. Nice lady I'm sure but at her age (guessing early to mid 70s) she seemed to be struggling to do the job and work the register. And in keeping with MD's normal operating procedure the order was wrong when I got it. It's all my fault though. When I saw the line I should have bolted back out the door.
I went there two days ago with my church and met a wonderful person named Russel. He made my experience five stars. The head cashier was pretty mean and demanding but Russel made all the difference. He sat down and talked with us for a tiny bit and he did his job and cleaned up too. I would go again ten out ten times if he is there.
Whenever I go eat there something is ALWAYS messed up. Be it the wrong sandwich, even the wrong stuff ON the sandwhich, rushed service, cold fries, there is always something wrong. I go back every time in hopes something goes right. Give them another chance and I keep having faith in them. But to no avail, they screw up once again. So I rate a two. One for not screwing up on everything and two for effort. But that’s about it.
Awesome view of the lake out the window. Service is on point. Food is what you'd expect, and any order issues with are handled promptly and without complaint. Haven't had a drive through mistake on my order yet *knock on wood*
